This Barn 148 transportable home was designed for part-time beach living and to suit the needs of a family of five. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate living areas, this large 148m2 home was a practical yet stylish option for our Waitarere clients.

The home caters perfectly for the comings and goings of the family.  One end of the house is a dedicated kid’s zone with two double bedrooms and bathroom with a separate living or ‘teen hang out’ area. This separate breakout area provides the perfect set up, allowing all members of the family their own space when required.

The large open plan living, kitchen and dining area with oversized stacker doors on either side provides a spacious and airy hub to the home. The family can make the most of the amazing views and indoor/ outdoor flow in the summer and cosy up around the wood burner during the winter months.  

This house was created for bach life and for a busy family to get away from the everyday stresses, in a home away from home. Happy holidays!
